Montessori Elementary in French or English
As he/she develops an ability to rationalize, the imagination is primed to learn about oceans, mountains and the big history that started it all. The Montessori curriculum for Elementary students promises the same excellence in mathematics and language. The curriculum is also wonderfully enriched with the natural worlds of science here on Earth and beyond into space. We have mixed aged groupings, therefore the Lower Elementary is from grade 1 to 3 and the Upper Elementary is from grade 4 to 8. Each child is given their individual lesson plans and are taught to work independently and create intrinsic motivation, which will last a lifetime.
All students coming from another school are assessed prior to acceptance into our elementary program. Applicants from Grades 1-8 take part in an informal academic and character assessment which takes place during a scheduled assessment visit.
